A heart-wrenching incident of murder of an old man has come to light in Sarsar village of Siwan district. The miscreants first killed the old man by slitting his throat and then dragged the body for 15 meters on the road.
According to the incident, a resident of Sarsar village of Siwan district reached Bathan late last night after having dinner at home as usual and then some unknown criminals caught hold of him and slit his throat. After the murder, the criminals dragged his body on the road for about 15 meters. Then they ran away leaving the dead body there.
During this time, some people of the village were coming from the city to the village by bike. He saw a dead body lying on the road. After the noise, people gathered nearby. The deceased has been identified as Ramnuj Singh, aged 85, resident of Sarsar village. At present there is an atmosphere of panic in the village after the incident. Local people say that no one had enmity with them, so how did such an incident happen. Some villagers are calling it murder as part of a conspiracy. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took possession of the body and sent it to Siwan Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
